Schuylkill County Jeep Alliance - Skook Riders - SCJA was founded 2012 with members covering Schuylkill and surrounding counties. We are focused on fun, family orientated activities for all its members and fellow jeep owners. The club attentions are on maximizing the jeep and off road experience, meets others, learn and share ideas.

We are lucky enough to drive one of the most unique vehicles in the world to give us maximum pleasure both on and off road. While meeting other like-minded people, our jeep family has been able to grow and flourish over these few years.

Our objective is to foster an atmosphere that ensures the best care of the jeep community, our club and the environment.

We do NOT partake in drama; wreck less driving, drugs or alcohol while wheeling or abusing the beautiful land we ride on or venue that accepts riders to ride freely. We respect other jeepers and clubs; we ride with other groups, while keeping our core members in highest regard.

Everyone has problems, issues, hang ups, but one place many of us go to get away from that hardship or “Adulting” is the trails. We do a lot in the club, many put forward much of their own resources so we are pretty tight knit who relies on one another.

Our page/forum Schuylkill County Jeep Alliance and Friends is for all Jeep owners and off roaders to connect, a place to share experiences, to help one another, learn, and post pics and videos of out excursions. It’s an outreach to expand your jeep experience and meet others.

The last page wasn’t as interactive, so we expanded what was once a private page to open by invite. We are simply a social club, so the same, but very different from other clubs. We don’t have fees, if we buy things it’s shared, distributed evenly, even cookouts after rides we all bring a dish or help in some way.

Short version, let’s be honest, it’s a great hobby that gets us away from the everyday rigors and we just wanna get away. We have picked up some great members who really do a lot. And have great supporters who help us in need.
When we start to get to serious and all weird with rules and structures we lose the fun.

Like the million jeep pages we are all the same, this is just more local. It’s a great point to help each other, learn, and got to know more people. Some on the page don’t even own a jeep, but they love the life and help that life or the groups get along in that life.

We are simple really; help one another in good and bad times if we can on and off the trail. We want to ride, camp, cook out, wrench, fish, and socialize as much as we can. We have become strong enough over the years to where we travel together, attend events, and have become stronger as a group.

I love riding with our crew and others but know where my family resides. We will always keep great connections with other groups to join up for events to even have more fun later and show others our area. We always welcome anyone who enjoys the jeep experience.
